Writings from a Kootenay Korner

Well a beautiful sunny sunday also my girl. I'm so glad to hear that you and your little men are enjoying a gardening day. Yes it is too bad your dad didn't encourage you more in this respect, but I assume it was more his escape than his obsession. I remember watching him come home from work to head out in the backyard before even greeting me at the end of the day. It's taken me a few years to want to appreciate my yard instead of resenting it. Definitely a positive experience now.

I will say ta ta for now as our gardens call and I will continue this excerpt as the spirit moves me. Love to all
Mom xoxo

Well sorry I've been so remiss in blogging Krista but somehow there just isn't time set aside for this very often. I spent the last week visiting and reminiscing with my fav sister Aleta from Winnipeg. She brought me some old school class pics which I will treat you to. Please don't laugh too hard you could hurt yourself. A big $5.00 to Aden if he can pic Gramma out of the group (with no help from Mom). I'll pay him on my next visit.

God!! Weren't we just the nerdiest bunch of kids you ever saw? I vaguely remember these photos and probably had to sit for two hours so my mom could curl my hair for the pictures. OOPS! I let the cat out of the bag. Was that a hint Aden?? That's okay now Aden can see where he gets his size from.

What happened?? I never thought I'd grow at all. I think I shall start journaling separately from this blog as I need to try to refresh my fading memories of childhood. Not sure if I can recall much but I'm starting to find a need for it. I will be back soon to add to this saga. Love to All and hope it moves you to do much of the same.
